SUPPLIER CODE OF CONDUCT
We developed these guidelines to make our expectations clear to the factories and manufacturing partners we work with. PROCLAIM does not own any factories; however we work closely with partners that are like-minded and share our philosophy. Our vision is to lead the fashion industry towards a more sustainable future. We emphasize exceptional design, valuing both our production partners and the planet as much as the end customer.
1. Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining:

Suppliers are expected to recognize and respect the rights of all workers to freely associate, organize, and bargain collectively.

No discrimination or retaliation will be tolerated against employees exercising their right to freedom of association.

Suppliers shall establish mechanisms for open communication between workers and management to facilitate constructive dialogue.
2. Elimination of Forced or Compulsory Labor:

Suppliers must ensure that all labor is voluntary and free from any form of coercion or forced labor.

Workers must have the freedom to terminate their employment with reasonable notice, and no worker should be required to surrender any personal identification or travel documents.
3. Elimination of Child Labor and Minimum Age of Work:

Suppliers shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to the employment of minors.

No workers under the legal minimum age for employment shall be employed.

Suppliers are encouraged to support educational initiatives and ensure that young workers have access to appropriate schooling and training opportunities.
4. Prohibition of Discrimination in Employment or Occupation:

Employment decisions, including hiring, promotion, compensation, and training, shall be based on merit, qualifications, and performance.

Discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected status is strictly prohibited.

5. Working Hours and Compensation:

Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws regarding working hours, overtime, and wages.

Workers should be compensated fairly for all hours worked, and overtime should be voluntary and paid at the legally mandated rate.

Deductions from wages as a disciplinary measure are strictly prohibited.
6. Health and Safety:

Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Workers must be provided with necessary training, equipment, and resources to perform their duties safely.

Regular health and safety assessments should be conducted to identify and mitigate potential risks.
7. Environmental Responsibility:

Compliance with environmental laws and regulations is mandatory.

8. Transparency and Accountability:
