About PROCLAIM
PROCLAIM is a sustainable intimates brand founded in 2017, creating everyday essentials including underwear, bras, shapewear, socks, and loungewear, using natural and plant-based materials. Our designs prioritize comfort and breathability, while rethinking nude through inclusive skin-tone shades. Our pieces are ethically made in factories that pay fair wages in the United States and Portugal.
PROCLAIM focuses on material integrity, comfort-first design, and inclusive nude tones. We prioritize natural and plant-based fabrics, low-impact dyes, inclusive sizing and ethical production, creating pieces designed for everyday wear rather than trend-driven styles.
PROCLAIM is based in Los Angeles, California. We design and operate from Los Angeles and work with fair-wage manufacturing partners in the United States and Portugal.
Yes. Sustainability is central to how PROCLAIM designs and produces its products. We prioritize certified organic materials, responsible dye processes, ethical manufacturing partners, and small production runs to reduce waste. Many of our collections are made locally in Los Angeles, including design, fabric sourcing, production, and warehousing.
PROCLAIM styles are made primarily from plant-based materials such as organic cotton, TENCEL™ fibers, and EVO®. Some styles include a small amount of elastane for fit and durability, which is always listed on the product page.
PROCLAIM is designed for people seeking comfortable, breathable everyday essentials made with thoughtful materials. Our products are created with consideration for women’s health through breathable natural fibers and low-impact dyes, and are for customers who value sustainability, inclusivity, and long-term wear.
Materials & Health
PROCLAIM primarily uses GOTS-certified organic cotton and other plant-based fibers such as TENCEL™ and EVO®. EVO® is a bio-based polyamide derived from renewable plant sources and is used in small amounts to provide stretch and durability. PROCLAIM does not use polyester or conventional fossil-fuel-derived nylon. We use low-impact dyes that meet environmental and safety standards.
Yes. Many PROCLAIM underwear styles are made with GOTS-certified organic cotton. Each product page lists the specific materials used in that style.
PROCLAIM does not use conventional fossil-fuel-derived synthetic fabrics such as polyester or nylon. Some styles include a small percentage of elastane to support fit and recovery, which is always listed on the product page. Our primary materials are natural and plant-based fibers.
PROCLAIM products are designed with sensitive skin in mind. We use breathable natural fibers, avoid harsh chemical finishes, and use low-impact dyes. Individual sensitivities may vary.
We use low-impact dyes that comply with strict environmental and safety standards. These dyes are selected to reduce water usage and minimize harmful chemical exposure.
PROCLAIM does not use PFAS or apply stain-resistant, water-repellent, or performance chemical finishes. Our materials are selected for breathability and comfort, and we use low-impact dyes that meet environmental and safety standards.
Fit & Design
PROCLAIM underwear is designed to feel secure without being restrictive. Our fits are intended to sit comfortably on the body without digging in or pinching. Fit notes are provided on each product page.
Most customers find PROCLAIM fits true to size. If you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, sizing guidance is provided on each product page.
PROCLAIM bras are wirefree and unpadded. Some styles include openings for optional removable inserts, which are clearly noted on the product page.
Yes. PROCLAIM offers an inclusive size range across our collections and continues to expand sizing based on customer feedback and fit testing. Our current sizing runs from S–3X, and our bras are offered in two fit options designed for A–C cups and D+ cups.
Ethics & Production
PROCLAIM products are made in fair-wage factories in the United States and Portugal. Most styles are made in Los Angeles, socks are made in North Carolina, and shapewear is made in Portugal. Manufacturing locations vary by product and are selected based on quality, labor standards, and responsible production practices.
Yes. PROCLAIM only partners with factories that prioritize fair wages, safe working conditions, and responsible labor practices.
PROCLAIM reduces its environmental impact through thoughtful material choices and responsible production practices. We select natural-based and lower-impact fibers such as TENCEL™, organic cotton and EVO® to minimize microplastic shedding and overall resource use. We use low-impact dyes and work with partners that meet strict standards for wastewater management. In production, we plan pattern layouts to reduce textile waste, reuse larger scraps when possible, and partner with recycling facilities to keep unusable textiles out of landfill. We also choose materials like TENCEL™ that are produced in closed-loop processes that recover and reuse water and solvents. These practices help PROCLAIM tread more lightly on the planet.
Care & Longevity
To extend the life of your garment, we recommend washing PROCLAIM products in cold water with like colors and laying flat or hanging to dry. Avoid bleach and high heat.
With proper care, PROCLAIM underwear is designed to last through years of regular wear. Natural fibers may soften over time while maintaining their shape and comfort.
